The pre-2020 had been a demanding year for the videogames industry. Since people were just sitting at home all day long, video games became a great way to kill as well as pass time. All of a sudden, Chris Redfield kidnaps Rosemary to a ravaged village in Europe, a village dominated by four mutant lords. It is an explorable village, and players can buy weapons from a merchant. They can hunt certain animals and have them cooked into dishes which can decrease the damage taken while blocking. It will include a six-player online multiplayer game too. 2. Hitman 3
The third and last installment to the assassination series is being complete with Hitman 3. Diana Burnwood, Lucas Grey, and Olivia Hall continue their mission to take down the Partners and Arthur Edwards. Like its predecessors, it is a third-person stealth game. The journey of Agent 47 continues with contracted assassinations in different places. There is no multiplayer feature like ‘Hitman 2’. However, contract mode is where players can select up to five targets across 24 maps besides the main story mode.

3. Outriders
During the mid 21st century, the earth has become an inhabitable planet with climatic disasters. The governments tried to save the human race on a distant twin planet like earth known as Enoch. Two ships, Caravel and Flores were sent to the planet. While Caravel suffered catastrophic devastation, only Flores reached the orbit of Enoch after 83 years of journey. The first persons to set foot on Enoch are a group of elite soldiers known as Outriders. It is a third-person shooter game. Players can create their custom characters and explore a wide range of unique abilities. Players can use shotguns or riffles to defeat enemies. Health can only be regenerated if the player is able to kill or defeat its enemy. The game has various roleplaying elements and several side missions.

4. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed franchise had been quite popular throughout these years. The game withholds the story of Viking brothers who lead their clans to settle in new lands in Anglo-Saxon England in 873 AD. It is an open-world action-adventure game with numerous main story arcs and many more side missions. Players can customize the protagonist’s clothes, tattoos, hair as well as gender. Players can use multiple weapons such as flails and swords. New combat styles have been introduced such as dual-wielding of almost any weapon, including shields.

5. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
If you are much into historic monuments and warfare then this is the ideal game for you. The fictional world of Calradia is based on the downfall of the Roman empire during the migration period. This is a strategy-action role-playing game. Players build up an army of soldiers and go on overhead campaign maps. Players can also construct a variety of siege machines to change the outcome of the battles. The interaction gameplay is quite good. Players can force non-player characters into doing a job by winning an argument and if that doesn’t work, a bribe can do the work for words.

6. Valorant
Bored with single-player games? We have right here a game that will keep you entertained especially during the quarantine. It is a multiplayer team-based tactical shooter and first-person shooter set in the near future. Players play as one of a set of agents and there are 15 agents to choose from. Players are assigned to either an attacking or defending team with five players in each team. Each player begins with a pistol but later they can buy heavy machinery based on the money gained from each round performance.

7. Call Of Duty: Warzone
Warzone is a Battle Royale where players compete on a continuously shrinking map. Players parachute into an open area where they encounter other players. As the game progresses players eliminate each other. Character death doesn’t end the game, while they are transported to ‘gulag’ where they battle the other defeated players. The winner of this combat is respawned into the main game again. A cool multiplayer game again to play with your friends.

8. Final Fantasy VII Remake
This is the Story of Cloud Strife, a former member of SOLDIER, the elite soldiers of the Shinra Electric Company. The company uses the spiritual energy of Earth to power the metropolis of Midgar. Cloud realizes the facts and stands against Shinra from harvesting and using the Spiritual energy of the planet. They had done quite a good job with the graphics in remaking the 1997 game. The game features an altered active time battle system, which gradually fills up, and once filled, players can use several magical abilities. Players can change roles any time they want and each character has unique magical abilities.

9. Doom Eternal
This fifth main installment in the Doom series after Doom(2016). After the events on Mars, Earth is being dominated by demonic forces continuously wiping out humanity. Those who survived either fled away or joined the Armored Response Coalition, an upsurge against the demons. It is a first-person action-adventure game where players take on the role of doom slayer and battle the demons. Players engage targets to acquire health, ammo, and armor. Players can use various firearms from rifles to shotguns to launchers and cannons. New movements like wall climbing, dash moves, and horizontal bar swings have also been introduced.

10. Destiny 2: Beyond Light
This is the 5th expansion of Destiny 2. Players travel to Jupiter’s icy moon Europa to defeat the fallen Kell Eramis, who has decided to use the power of the Darkness to save her people and take revenge on the traveler back on Earth, as she believes the traveler had betrayed her and her people. It is a mix of first-person and third-person shooter games retaining the basic gameplay of the Destiny 2 series. Players can switch between characters from the game’s three main clans. Players can buy or upgrade their weapons based on game currency. Besides the main story mode, there are several side missions, open-world public events, and special seasonal events.
